Golden Age" collection.

"Luc Decaunes, who used to be a school teacher in Paris, is also a radio man, journalist and festival organiser, as well as being interested in music and song. He is known above all for his literary work, being the author of numerous collections of poetry, novels and several anthologies. He frequented the Surrealists, notably Louis Aragon, Tristan Tzara, and Paul Éluard, whose son-in-law he became when he married his daughter Cécile. In 1936, he founded the magazine Soutes, which aimed to unite in a single language dreamlike, erotic and revolutionary impulses. From his first collection published in 1938, Decaunes will appear as a "thief of fire", but his poetry, throughout the work, will remain that of life and experience. Luc Decaunes directed the "Clefs pour" collection at Éditions Seghers in the 1970s.
