Nicolette Hennique is the daughter of the novelist Léon Hennique. "She poured all her heart into the verses of the Wind on the plain. She is not insensitive to any suffering or deaf to any sobbing. His verses strike us by their harmony, their vigour but also by their sincere accent and their profound humanity. " (See La Petite Illustration, September 3, 1932)
Very nice copy.
