Binding half-binding cream bradel. Spine with five nerves with gilt embellished boxes and a brown morocco coin on which the title and author's mention are written in gilt. Small stains on the bands. Double gilt fillet along the sides of the box. Gilded headband. Ex libris in the form of a label. Freckles on the pages.
A small book evoking the Universal Exhibition, a famous event during which visitors could satisfy their curiosity as well as their thirst for culture. But there was a theme to which the author wished to draw our attention: the faiences of Rouen and Nevers.
