Composed of 12 stamps mounted on tabs numbered from 13 to 24. This series had been preceded in 1775 by a first series, also of 12 pieces, engraved after Freudeberg's drawings. It was followed in 1783 by a third one, for which Moreau the Younger still provides the drawings. In this second suite, a woman of the right tone is described from her motherhood to the first outing and her occupations with her child.

The idea of this collection, which has become famous, comes back, says the announcement inserted in the "Mercury" in January 1775 (p. 194-195), to "a zealous amateur". This is Jean-Henri Eberts, a Swiss banker.

The list of prints that make up the three suites can be found in Cohen ("Books with engravings of the 18th century", 6.th ed., col. 352-356), and the detailed description of the last two in Bocher ("Catalogue de Moreau le Jeune", n° 1348-1371).
