Binding of the full tawny calf era. Spine with 4 jumped nerves decorated with cold and golden fillets. Gilded framing net on the boards surrounding a cold mosaic in the centre. Gold lace on the inner fillings. Three golden slices. Inside with some freckles. Illustrated with numerous black and white engravings out of text. Upper cap of volume 1 and lower cap of volume 4 damaged.
Beautiful set in a very decorative binding.
