Without two lithographed portraits (Stanislas and Marie Leckzinska), blue half-chagrin binding. Smooth spine finely decorated with fleurons and golden fillets. Rubbed upper cap. Interior with freckles. A report of a trip to Brussels and Coblentz (1791) is attached.
The first edition of this report of a trip from Dantzick to Marienwerder appeared the same year as the trip, in 1734, and was supposed to address the daughter of Stanislas, wife of Louis XV: it is one of the most turbulent episodes in the rather turbulent life of Stanislas Leszczynski (1677-1766), ephemeral king of Poland, at the beginning of the War of Succession in 1733.First edition of the Relation d'un voyage A Bruxelles et à Coblentz, an autobiographical account of the exile of the Count of Provence.
