Bradel half-marbled green binding with bands set with a gilded net. Smooth spine decorated along a latticework dotted with golden dots. Top edge gilt. Original paper covers and spine bound in. Very fresh interior.
First illustrated edition, containing 44 original compositions of Suréda engraved on wood by Aubert, 36 of them in colour.
Limited edition to 400 numbered copies. This one of the 50 copies on Imperial Japanese paper, second paper after 15 on Old Japan.
