Bound in marbled green half-basin. Spine with five raised bands and red morocco piece with title and author's name in gilt. Very slight rubbing on the headpieces. Red headband. Cover very well preserved. Paper browned. Contents decorated with black headbands and footnotes as well as black and white illustrations in text. Small tear on the bottom edge of the last page.
Work written entirely in Spanish.

A nice little testimony in the form of a bound copy. The Carlist Wars that shook Spain in the 19th century were not only fought between soldiers. The written press proved to be an ideal battlefield for the Carlists, where they could support the war effort of their faction with their pens.
