Spine with 5 nerves decorated with a reminder of the decoration in the cases, wide interior frame drawn by gilded fillets, thin roller and listels garnet and green, caramel morocco lining, almond green silk guards, gilded edges on witnesses. Original paper covers and spine bound in. Binding signed MERCIER sr de Cuzin). Text revised and preface by Jules de Marthold. 90 illustrations in the text, first edition of A. ROBIDA.

Limited edition to 350 copies, this one printed for the publisher.

VERY LUXURIOUS COPY HAVING BELONGED TO THE CONQUERED LEON, WITH THE ILLUSTRATIONS FULLY COLORED IN WATERCOLOR BY A. ROBIDA. He bears, under justification, this note from the artist: "This copy has been completely enhanced with colours by the artist. A. Robida", and this letter: "To my friend L. Conquet".

It is also enriched with A BLACK SUITE ON CHINA, A Pretty AQUARELLE on the fake title with sending to L. Conquet, 7 AQUARELLES on domestic titles, 9 VERY BEAUTIFUL AQUARELLES ON JAPAN ON FULL PAGE, and the leaflet on China (4 pages).
