Bound in full bronze morocco. First dish decorated with a mosaic motif representing a pig led by an eros holding a liberating cup and jumping over a musical staff. The whole composition is completed by a large golden floral stem that grows on the height of the dish, all surrounded by a ribbon and a crescent moon. full length and a couple of pigeons in chief. The second dish simulates a tambourine with bells, the hollowed out centre of which contains a marotte, with a guitar and a lute. the spine is decorated with 4 golden butterflies and a paper casserole. The interiors of the boards are decorated with a frieze alternating pigs and leafy acorns, all in a frame of golden net splayed with antique masks, silk guards with floral decoration, roller on the cups... All golden edges. Cover kept. Binding signed Ch. MEUNIER. Clarified spine 

The book is complete with its printed cover, the fake title with the justification of the print on the spine, the title consisting of a etching by Henry SOMM from Japan.

Unique copy enriched with an original cover and 50 black and coloured pencil, watercolour or pen drawings by J. COULON, illustrating each song in a humorous way.
