The physiology of Vichy en Bourbonnois mineral waters was first published in 1636 in Lyon by Coeuryllis. A second edition, revised, corrected for the errors of its first impression and increased again, was published in 1642, in Moulins chez Pierre Vernoy, in Le Vase D'or. It is the text of this second edition which, through the care of G. J. Place, has been faithfully reproduced here, and printed on April 15, 1921, by Protat Frères in Mâcon in 1100 copies including a hundred out of trade, on hemp paper of the ark manufacturers.
