Beautiful full morocco binding, white, red  arranged in vertical strips covering the plates, number" P. P. " golden on the second. Smooth spine with golden title and date on the heel. Inside golden net. Lining and guards of newspaper clippings from 1914, double gold net on the cups, top edge gilt, not trimmed. Blankets and spines kept. Binding signed S. Holy. Small rubbing on the binding, with a slightly stained spine.

ORIGINAL EDITION LIMITED to 472 copies re-imposed in-4° Tellière. This one is one of 96 copies on Holland. 

Unique copy  enriched with 39 drawings ORIGINATING IN PENCIL AND PLUM, watercolour, by Maurice Savin (1894-1973), one on a full page and 38 in the margin of the text, some with the artist's signature. The latter added to the pen" illustrated by Savin " on the title page. Mobilized during the war, Maurice Savin was wounded twice and received the War Cross.

EXCEPTIONAL EXCEPTIONAL OF THE LIBRARY OF THE COUTURIER PAUL POIRET, with its number struck on the second plate, and bound by Simone Saintu, Louis-Ferdinand Céline's childhood friend.
