In a cardboard case and folder. Full dark blue morocco binding. Nervous back. First dish illustrated with a large decoration representing the facade of the church of Saint Séverin seen in perspective and 3/4, entirely made of small mosaics of coloured leather. The whole gives the perfect impression of an oil painting. Paper folders painted by H. LEHAYE with small mosaics set with gold and cold nets forming inner lace. In the lower corner, portrait of H. LEHAYE entirely mosaic of coloured leathers. Cover and back kept. Double gilded fillets on cut. Illustrated edition of 4 etchings out of text and 30 black woods in the text after Auguste LEPÈRE.
LIMITED EDITING to 695 numbered copies. This one is one of the numbered copies on large vellum of Arches.
Enriched copy of the ORIGINAL AQUARELLA signed by H. LEHAYE which was used for the mosaic of the first dish.
This micro-mosaic leather mosaic decoration signed by Henri Lehaye (1899-1966), justified Mos. de H. Lehaye n°6 on a guard is embedded in an elegant Jansenist binding.
