Hind bindings half sorrow green prairie, back with nerves, gilded fleurons (Basque crosses), gilded date and title. Cream cover printed and illustrated in colors preserved. Very beautiful work under an elegant binding. Ten colour plates out of text (by CABANAS-OTEIZA).
Uncommon. The text of the two lectures read at the Bilbao Philharmonic is dated "Lekarotz, 25 de Abril de 1916". Thirty-one songs with tunes and noted music.
Attached is a sample of another book on Basque songs by Father Donastia.
Copy enriched with a SIGNED SELF SENDING of the author in addition to a SIGNED SELF LETTER to the papermaker Émile LAFUMA.
