This pirate edition includes 26 poems, the last of which were written in Fresnes prison, and the final text, "La Mort en face", dated February 6, 1945, the very day of his execution. This pirate edition is backdated, appearing after the 1946 edition of "La Pensée française", as the poem "Je ne sais rien" was not yet known in 1945.
