On three occasions, in 1924, 1934 and 1953, André Breton collected various texts previously published in volume. But since that last date, that of La Clé des champs, articles, prefaces, survey responses, interviews, have remained scattered, in magazines or newspapers that are often difficult to access.
This collection contains all the major articles and interventions that took place between the spring of 1952 and 1966. The choice made among the texts was guided by the concern to respect the constant comings and goings from temporal to timeless, from particular to general, which characterizes Breton's thinking.
