Les Choses (originally subtitled Une histoire des années soixantees) is a novel by Georges Perec published in 1965 by Maurice Nadeau in his collection Les Lettres nouvelles, by Julliard, and having received the Renaudot prize the same year. Perec's novel was the most successful. Georges Perec realized when writing his novel (which he does not call a novel by the way), that the way he made the two heroes live was nothing more than his own way of life to himself and his friends.
