Soft and printed cream cover on which is affixed the ex-libris of the Mercury of France. Pages not trimmed. Beautiful condition of the pages considering their age. Slight snags on the cover and back of the book.
FIRST EDITION. Is one of the 745 copies printed on Lafuma pure filament paper numbered from 70 to 914 (n°475).
A cord that can be used as a bookmark is attached to the book. Contains an illustration and an introduction by Edmond Rocher.
Last work of Louis Pergaud, the author of the war of buttons, published posthumously. Shortly before his tragic death during the First World War, he told us several stories about nature, some of which remained unfinished.
