COLLECTIF
Paris. - Flammarion. - 1947.
- Format : In-8.
- Number of volumes : 1 volume.
- Binding : Cardboard.
- Collation : 92 pp.
Brown half-carton binding. Smooth spine striated with gilding with threads and blue title. Dishes with brown leather laces, gold stripes with blue floral motifs. Nice condition of the contents with coloured lettering, headbands and endpapers, as well as reproductions of miniatures in off-text colours.
A rare book that gave rise to an equally rare collaboration between four writers, including a former minister: Gide, Romans, Colette, and Mauriac. Four authors of the modern era united for a work with an emphasis on antiquity, even medieval times. A reinforced impression with the magnificent colourful off-texts straight out of the illuminations of yesteryear.
Very good condition.
