For Vialatte, the chronicle was not simply a news post, but a space of total freedom. For decades (notably for the newspaper La Montagne), he wrote about everything and nothing, transforming everyday life into a burlesque epic. Vialatte observes human beings with mocking tenderness, seeing them as beings "playing seriously" with problems they don't understand.
Very good condition.
