Romain GARY
Paris - Gallimard - 1970
- Format : In-8.

Printed cream blanket. Uncut.
FIRST EDITION. This one of 55 numbered copies on Lafuma-Navarre pure thread, second paper after 23 on Dutch Van Gelder wove paper.
This book, like The Promise of Dawn, is a true story. Romain Gary directs himself in it, as well as Jean Seberg, and other well-known characters such as Marlon Brando.
In Los Angeles, the author takes in a lost wolfhound. He soon realizes that the dog, who is usually very gentle, attacks every black person he sees. In the South, this is called a "white dog," a dog trained to hunt blacks.
Very nice condition.
