Set of two volumes with a half-marocco green-shadow binding with bradel corners. Spine with four jumped nerves with title, author's note, gilt filets and gilt embellished boxes. Gilded dating on the heel.rubbed jaws. Remarkable bindings. Gilt headbands. Cover and spine very well preserved. Excellent condition of the contents decorated with black and white illustrations by FRED-MONEY and engraved by Victor DUTERTRE.

The story and names of this little Gascon and the three musketeers with whom he befriended are now legendary: the fiery d'Artagnan, the shady Athos, the distinguished Aramis and the jovial Porthos. This reprint in two volumes of their adventures gives it a showcase to their value, all very well preserved.
