It is recalled that Georges Ohnet (also known under the pseudonym Georges Hénot) born in April 1848, died in May 1918 is a writer of popular French novels. His work is marked by an opposition in the form and choice of themes with the literary movement of naturalism. He was a historiographer of the French bourgeoisie of the 19th century.
