Spine binding full of burgundy grief Finely spine with raised bands decorated with golden friezes and fleurons and golden date on the heel. Dishes decorated with a gilded framing net with small mosaic on the corners. All edges gilt. Original paper covers and spine bound in. Binding signed ANDREAS.
FIRST EDITION. In accordance with the description of the original edition by Vicar IV 310 and Carte- ret I414. Two editions of Napoleon the Little were put on sale simultaneously in Brussels on August 8, 1852: the edition presented here in-12 of 385 pp. and the edition in-32 of 464 pp. smaller for smuggling into France.
Exemplary in good condition.
