Back ivory half vellum binding, smooth back, paddle, gilt floret and fillets, black title piece, preserved publisher's cover (bottom plate illustrated). The cover can be blue or pink. Title label on a slightly scratched back. Lower cover plate illustrated by VAINSOT. It is mentioned on the title page that Édouard Lamaignère is the author of "Bayonne et les chemins de fer".
First appeared in serial form in the Courrier de Bayonne, from October 10, 1852. Wanted.
FIRST EDITION.
Another edition (the first 165 pages only) in 1927, with illustrations by G. ALAUX. Reissued in 2004 (La Découvrance), with the same illustrations.
