RARE ORIGINAL EDITION of the third "Dizain" of the "Contes drôlatiques" published in 1837 by Werdet, with a new cover and a relay title on the date of 1839, for resale under its new title, "Berthe la repentie".
This third ten-year-old is particularly rare, as the fire on rue du Pot de fer destroyed a large part of the copies.
This copy contains the final 6 pages with the famous note announcing a two-year delay before the publication of the 4th Dixain, which will not appear, and the "errata, delenda and adjuncta" .
