La Samaritaine is a "gospel" in three tableaux and verses by Edmond Rostand created on April 14, 1897 at the Renaissance Theatre, with Sarah Bernhardt in the title role.
The piece was used as a libretto for Max d'Ollone's homonymous opera, premiered at the Paris Opera on June 23, 1937.
