Flat dishes decorated with a frame of multiple golden fillets intertwined with polychrome mosaic floral scrolls, threaded cups, inner lining of green morocco with natural golden flowers. All gold edges on witnesses. Binding signed CHAMBOLLE-DURU. Very slightly tarnished back. Edition enriched with 17 illustrations composed and engraved with etching by Edmond RUDAUX.
Special edition of 100 copies printed on large vellum paper from the Marais on behalf of Mr L. Conquet. One of the 25 copies reimposed in-4 format on large vellum paper of the Marais for Léon Conquet and justified by him, with engravings in three states (i. e. with a double suite: in pure etching and in print before the letter with remarks).
Magnificent specimen in full morocco.
