With Mr. Crick's ex-libris.

The narrator, who is never named (but we can deduce that his name is Jacques because it is an autobiography), makes friends with a young man of Jewish origin, David Silbermann, a student at the same Parisian high school. At the sight of the bullying of which Silbermann is the victim by the other students and some teachers, he even took an oath of friendship with her.

Elegant binding.
