Dishes decorated with a wide antique frieze with a gilded frame drawing a curved rectangle with a bouquet of tulips at the corners, silk linings in colors with multiple golden framing nets, floral at the corners, arabesques on the sides. All edges gilt. Cover& preserved spines, double guards. Binding signed AFFOLTER. With 50 colour illustrations, including 10 non-text illustrations by H. de La Nézière.
Limited edition to 350 numbered copies. This one is one of the 288 on vellum.
