Half-marbled midnight blue binding with corners. Spine decorated with special golden irons representing a female helmeted head. Top edge gilt. Original paper covers and spine bound in. Binding signed CHAMPS. Illustrated with 21 drypoints printed out of text and 41 compositions by Henry SOMM. Weakened bite.
The illustrations are in two states, each dry point is printed once in black with the letter, then without the letter and with remarks printed in bistre or green ; the text vignettes are also printed outside text on Chinese paper.
LIMITED ORIGINAL EDITION: 150 numbered copies on Holland paper .
Copy enriched with an ORIGINAL DRAWING, pencil and watercolour, signed by SOMM on a false title page.
