Jean Maximilien Lamarque, born in Saint-Sever in July 1170 death of cholera on June 1st 1832, is a French general officer, who made his career in the armies of the Revolution and the Empire, especially the wars of Vendée and Spain. A fervent Republican, his funeral is a pretext for the republican insurrection of 1832 because the republican partisans did not accept that the last honours should be given to this fervent Republican by legitimate royalists.
Very good condition.
