Bound in modern green half-chagrin. Spine with five ribbed bands underlined by cold filets, with imperial eagle fleurons, title and author's mentions gilt. Slight rubbing on the headpieces and the nerves. Spotted top edge. Pages not soiled. Paper browned but in good condition. Frontispiece in black and white. Contents decorated with a black and white folding map. Small tear on the map. Copy in good condition.
Posthumous work. Foreword by Albert DUTEY-HARISPE.
Work dealing with the life of Jean-Isidore Harispe (1768-1855), native of Saint-Etienne de Baïgorry. Volunteer in 1792 during the Revolution, he then made a name for himself during the First Empire as a soldier and then as a politician.
