Set of six volumes bound in half tan basane with small spines. Smooth spine, with gilt fillets and gilt title on brown morocco piece. All edges speckled. Paper slightly browned. Good condition of the contents. Some pages have small tears. Cloth bookmark.
Volume II: Ex-libris stamped on the title page.

Nice little bound volume gathering several studies having in common that they were published in 1823 and that they deal with the conflict between the Empire and Spain at the beginning of the 19th century as well as its consequences on the world geopolitical order of the time. Five different authors contributed to the six texts presented:
- Jean Fiévée: On Spain and the consequences of armed intervention (T.I).
- A.L.B.: On the Excellence of the War with Spain (T.II); Another word on the Excellence of the War with Spain (T.IV)
- M.V. Angliviel La Beaumelle: A glance at the Spanish War; from 1808 to 1814 (T.III).
- A. Loève-Veimars: On the inevitability of an upcoming war with England, presented as a consequence of the War with Spain (T.V).
- Anonymous: Legitimate causes of the War against Spain undertaken by the French Government (T.VI).
