Bound in brown half-chagrin. Five ribbed spine with gilt fleurons and brown morocco piece on which the title and the author's name appear in gilt. Freckles on the white endpapers. Cover preserved. Pages not soiled. Scattered foxing and fine soiling on the pages. Contents adorned with black and white decorated headbands, footnotes and lettering, as well as a black and white plate.
Because of its strategic position, Fontarabia has been the scene of several armed conflicts. The one that interests us most dates from 1521, and was conducted jointly by the forces of the Kingdoms of Navarre and France against those of Spain.
