Bound in half brown morocco with corners. Five ribbed spine with gilt fillets and two brown morocco pieces on which the title and the author's name appear in gilt. Remarkable binding. Cover preserved. Pages not soiled. Scattered foxing on the pages. Nice copy.
Uncommon and sought-after book. Dedicated to Antoine D'Abba
Beautifully bound copy of this work in which the grammarian Louis-Marie-Hyacinthe Fabre (1807-1865), compiled several letters. Of the 21 letters that this former collaborator of Prince Louis-Lucien Bonaparte included in this book, no less than 7 are dedicated to the city of Bayonne alone. Another one is about the privateer Pellot, while the others are about the Basque Country in general.
