In a modern pink half-basin folder, mosaiced with an emerald green piece of chagrin, with green title on the spine. In a case lined with the same leathers. Soft orange filled cover. Spine damaged and missing. Wear of the cover. Title label on front cover. Pages not soiled. Paper slightly browned. Good condition of the contents decorated with four color woodcuts in- and out-text.
LIMITED EDITION. One of the numbered copies on laid paper.

Literary deception, established by DARAGNÈS, and printed in Paris, and not in Bayonne. The present edition was printed "in the year XXXVIII of the Republic", that is to say in 1920. The woodcuts by Jean de GUÉTHARY - pseudonym of J.-G. DARAGNÈS, born in Guéthary - were destroyed after printing. The original edition of Andréa de NERCIAT's text was published in 1788.
