Set of two volumes with publisher's full red-bordeaux percaline binding. Smooth spine with filleted title and mention of the association. Black date on heel. First cover with double filleted border, title, place of publication, date and black coat of arms. Small rubs on the covers and plates. Pages not soiled. Freckles on the pages.
Volume I : Contents decorated with a plan of Pau in colour out of the text, as well as four folding plans in black and white out of the text.
Volume II : Internal jaws damaged. Pages also uncut. Contents decorated with five hors-texte plates, some on double pages in black and white or in colour.
These two volumes, in their beautiful binding, have many pages concerning our Pyrenean region, notably on : the Pyrenean lakes (BAYSSELLANCE, BELLOC), the Basque people (INCHAUSPÉ), the cagots (BOUCHARD, CARTAILHAC, MAGITOT, GUILBEAU), the Basque linguistics (CHARENCEY), the thermal waters of the South-West and the Pyrenees, the emigration, the viticulture of the Landes region and the Pyrenees region, etc...
