Binding from the brown half-calf period. Spine with 4 jumped nerves, decorated with golden fillets and black title pieces and tomaison. Rubbed hairstyles. Three speckled slices. Interior with clear freckles. Illustrated with 2 engraved portraits, the Count of Segur by C. MF Dien, Catherine II by Bertonnier, 1 plate with medal struck for Catherine's trip to Taurida, engraved by Bertonnier, 1 folding map of Catherine II's trip to Crimea in 1787. Missing the title page on volume 1.
