Carnets is a collection of autobiographical works by the writer Albert Camus published posthumously, in three volumes, mostly separated. Notebooks I: May 1935-February 1942 (1962); Notebooks II: January 1942-March 1951 (1964); Notebooks III: March 1951-December 1959 (1989).
Although Camus considered these Notebooks above all as working tools, they sometimes resemble a diary, especially the last volume, which is rather disjointed in that it contains scattered elements, sometimes notations of a few lines or a single sentence. He talks above all about what is happening around him, the life of a writer who also has a family life, his work at Gallimard, his commitments, the development of his works and the difficulties in making his different activities coexist.
In very good condition.
