Spine binding (early 19th century) full fawn calf marbled with brown. Very richly spine with raised bands decorated with large fishnet, large florets, golden nets and wheels and a red morocco title piece. Illustrated with 267 beautiful figures on half page, with titles and legends. Small lack of paper at the label of the first previously reinforced title.
Rare ORIGINAL EDITION with the various characteristics described in detail by Brunet, in particular the 2 engravings by Sébastien Le Clerc, pages 21 and 331 which are not in most other editions.
