Beautiful collection of newspapers from the Mercure de France including several issues from the year 1803, also called year 11 or 12 of the revolutionary calendar. Founded in 1672, the journal was able to survive the ravages of the Revolution and continue to inform the good people of France. These documents are therefore of both cultural and historical importance, even if the series is not complete.
